Sawadee Kha from Thailand

 

Rainy season in Thailand and we are having lots of rain. The good news is that the rains do not prevent the children from coming to Abba House, Praise to our Abba for a dry place in which to share the love of Jesus with these children.

 

Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Abba House Nursery School!!!!!!!!! One year old and we had a birthday party. Khun Rin brought muffins for the children and helped them to decorate their own. Then she added a candle, lit all of them and they sang Happy Birthday. Oh, how we praise our Abba for all He has done in the nursery school this past year.

Khun Rin usually has 6 or 7 children ranging in ages of 4, 5 and 6 years old. Two of the children, Som and Hoy, have been with us the full year, others just came into the program when the school opened in June. All of the children are also in the Saturday program at Abba House. Our Abba continues to work in the lives of these children and we are grateful to be a part of His plan.

 

Our Abba continues to work inside Nardsoontorn with the families there. Pastor Num was able to help one of the residents get her identity (ID) which opened up a whole new world to her.

 

Khun Auo is 37 years old. Pastor Num took her to Chachuang Sao province, about 2 hours northeast of Bangkok, and helped her with the necessary paper work. With the ID card she is now able to get a better job as good jobs require ID cards as well as being able to receive medical help from the local government hospital.

 

The morning before Pastor Num was to take Khun Auo to her province, she told Num “I pray in the name of Jesus and ask Him for His help”.

 

Pastor Num sees this as a testimony of God working in her heart, for her to pray in the name of Jesus.

 

This truly is another testimony of our Abba working in the lives of the people of Nardsoontorn.

 

 

I thank God for Sea, who is helping us at Abba House on Saturdays; for Jumroon who has been working at Abba House daily and helping Khun Rin in the nursery School as well as the Saturday and Sunday programs. I am also thankful for seminary student Ken as he is with us on the weekend. Our Abba continues to bless us with workers/servants in this ministry.

 

I, Lee, was able to be in the States for my mother’s 100^th birthday in June! What a glorious time that was. My mother is still in good health and goes to church every Sunday. I have a sister who lives in the house with her and that is another blessing.

 

While in the States I was able to visit several churches. I appreciate so much Second Baptist Church, Levelland, TX; First Baptist Church, Glenn Rose, TX; First Baptist Church, Glenns Ferry, ID and First Baptist Church, Hagerman, ID for allowing me share Chang Noi Ministry and our Abba’s work here in Thailand. I also greatly appreciate the financial gifts of these churches and other supporters who regularly contribute to the financial needs of this ministry. Let me remind you that all of the money donated goes into the ministry, none of it goes for personal needs or support.

 

Chang Noi Ministry has the vision for a larger building for the nursery school. In order for that to happen we will need to buy land and build to meet our needs. Land in the area where we are now is expensive, it will cost us about $60,000 just to buy the land and that much again for the building. Please pray for us as we seek our Abba’s will in this challenge.

 

In Thailand when the children go to school they have to learn Budhism daily. In Abba House Nursery School the children get to learn about Jesus Christ daily. They are our best missionaries as they take Him back home to share Him with their families. In nursery school one of the student’s favorite songs is AS THE DEER PANTETH FOR THE WATER. Thank you, Khun Rin, for your love for our Abba and for these children.

 

Pray for us as we continue to serve Him in Thailand and seek His will for Chang Noi Ministry.
