Our Abba continues to bless His work in Nardsoontorn and around Abba House.
Five years ago Chang Noi Ministry began the work in the slums of Nardsoontorn, PakNam, Samutprakan province. In order to walk into the slum area to reach the children and for them to come out to Abba House, we had to use a wooden boardwalk. Since this area is a dug out rice paddy, this means the boardwalk is exposed to water 12 months of the year and has deteriorated over time. The condition of the boardwalk became a hazard to the safety of the residents of Nardsoontorn, Below is a picture of the boardwalk at the beginning of March.
When we first began work in this area, Mr Al, a missionary who directed the remodeling work at Abba House, made the comment that the boardwalk had to be replaced at some time.
Our Abba sent a young man with a heart for the children of Nardsoontorn into the life of Chang Noi Ministry in February of 2008 and he has given wings to Mr Al’s comment. Our Abba called Mr Al home in November of 2005 so he was not able to see his vision for the boardwalk come into being.
Gabe Lindsey, a young Christian with a big heart, who is an accountant for a construction company, made all of the arrangements for the work to be done. Num took on the responsibility of hiring local laborers to do the manual labor of pulling up and digging out the old boardwalk, as well as spreading the concrete for the new sidewalk. Num was with the project daily from the beginning to the end. The local men from inside of Nardsoontorn did an excellent job, they have reason to be proud of their work.

The residents of Nardsoontorn are very grateful for their new sidewalk. Both children and adults can now safely enter and leave this area. Bicycles can easily use the sidewalk, however, measures have been taken to prohibit motorcycle usage as several homes open out onto the boardwalk.
Chang Noi Ministry is very grateful to Gabe and his heart for the work at Nardsoontorn. We are looking forward to working with this young man again in the future. The nursery school program is doing well, Khun Rin will close this term at the end of March with 7 students enrolled and attending daily. What a blessing she is to the ministry.
In May Jumroon will return to serve as fulltime staff with us at Abba House. Pray for him as he is on mission trips for the months of March and April.
Sea and her sister Fa are running the Saturday programs and enjoying serving at Abba House. We have started children’s prayer groups on Saturdays and how heart-touching it is to hear these children pray. Our Abba hears the prayers of His children, regardless of their ages. Sea and her sister Fa are taking care of the Saturday programs, what a huge blessing they are.
