Our Abba continues to work here in Thailand and we are so blessed by being a part of that work.
Christmas 2006
Christmas was an exciting time for everyone. The International Community School (ICS) continues to work with Chang Noi Ministry in supplying children’s Christmas Shoe Boxes. Through the volunteer efforts of the student council, they supplied 254 boxes packed with necessary toiletry items along with school supplies and age appropriate toys. The boxes were distributed at Christmas parties at Abba House; Num’s home church, Prasanya; Samut Jedi, Prasnaya’s cell church under the leadership of Pastor Tup and the children’s ward at the Samut Prakan Hospital. Num is including pictures for your enjoyment.

Karen Village Christmas
Chang Noi initiated a new project in 2006. Pastor Tup, the pastor of the Samut Jedi church, is from a Karen Village in the North of Thailand. The village is considered a Christian village but many of the villagers are not practicing Christians. As with all of the villages in the North, this one is has limited financial resources. With the help of the ICS campus in Bangkok warm clothing and blankets were gathered for this village, over 25 huge plastic bags. There was also a donation of 10 dozen pairs of rubber sandals and boxes of toys. With the aid of a van, Pastor Tup was able to get the items to his village, taking with him Melinda and Shawna from ICS, as well as Sue and husband Mr Michael and their friend Wee. This team did an English camp for the village children. What a great outpouring of our Abba’s love for these people.
Num
Num continues to do great, he completed his first year at Liberty Seminary with a GPA of 3.857!!!!!!! This GPA is very indicative of the potential and hard work in this young man. He has now completed the first draft for his doctorate thesis. He is scheduled for graduation from the seminary with a D. Min. in May, 2007. Continue to pray for him as he works toward his goal. Our Abba continues to bless Num and to provide for his financial needs at Liberty. Thank you so much for supporting him both in prayers and with finances. Investing in Num is investing in the Kingdom work in Thailand.
Staff
Our Abba is blessing us with our first part time salaried staff person, Sea. Sea is a second year English major at her university and has been temporary staff for the past couple of years. After much prayer with Num, Sea and her parents, the decision was made to offer Sea this opportunity to come along beside us and to grow in the Chang Noi vision for ministry in Thailand. Sea will come on staff during April we are all excited about this next step in the ministry.
As you pray for Num at Liberty Seminary, remember to pray for us at Abba House; Sue, as she leads the oldest group of students; the seminary students as they teach the middle group of students as well as the youngest group. Khun Kae is taking English classes on Saturdays now and her class will be managed by the seminary students; for Sea as she will begin her new assignment and for me as I work with all of these servants.
